Our campaign

The NHS has produced a ten-year plan, setting out all the things it wants health services to do better for people across the country.

Locally, we need to develop a five year plan and we need to hear from you about what matters most to you about your local health and care services.

Our ‘What Matters to You’ campaign aims to get your views around the NHS Long Term Plan and find out what matters most to you about the health and care services you and your family receive.

Whether it’s your take on health priorities in the NHS Long Term Plan or how you and your family get health advice, support and services – please join in and share your views. Your opinions and experiences matter to us and how we shape our services.

Every month, the campaign will put a key health area into focus, covering urgent, community and primary care, digital innovation, prevention and self care, long terms conditions and mental health.

Healthwatch Nottinghamshire will be supporting the campaign and will be out in communities talking face-to-face with local people. Our engagement team will also be at lots of local events over the Spring and early Summer – you can see where they will be here.

What you tell us will support the development of a local five year plan.
